Association Swimming Pool Rules

Pool Hours: 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (or dusk, whichever comes first)

  • The swimming pool is for the use and enjoyment of all Chestnut Oaks residents and accompanied guest.  Each household is limited to up to four guests who are other than family members.
  • Only adult residents will use the entry system to the swimming pool.  No one under the age of 14 or guests will be permitted to use the entry system.
  • Any resident under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult resident.
  • An adult resident must accompany guests at all times.
  • No lifeguard is on duty.  Residents and guest swim at their own risk.  The Association and the Management Co. are not responsible for any persons in the pool area.
  • Drinks, snacks, and smoking are NEVER permitted in the swimming pool itself.  NO GLASS CONTAINERS are ever allowed in the pool area due to the county ordinances and the possibility of breakage and injury.  If there is glass broken, we are required to drain the pool, clean it and refill it. If glass is brought in and broken within the fenced pool area, a charge will be assessed to the homeowner to cover the expense of draining, cleaning and refilling the pool.
  • Alcoholic Beverages are not to be openly displayed.
  • Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the pool deck.
  • Residents are responsible for the removal of their trash and that of their guests.  Trash is to be placed in properly covered sanitary containers.
  • No running, no diving, and no loud or rough play are allowed in or around the swimming pool.
  • Local Ordinance prohibits pets in the swimming pool area.
  • All individuals must shower before entering the pool.
  • Rafts are permitted, but for the safety of others must be removed from pool when raft is not in use.
  • Proper swimming attire is required. No cutoffs or shorts are permitted. Babies in diapers must wear plastic/rubber pants.
  • Local Ordinance restricts the number of persons in the swimming pool to 112 swimmers.  There shall be no less than 2 people allowed to swim at any time.
  • The pool is not available for private pool parties.
  • A replacement fee of $25 will be charged for lost keys.

 
THE ASSOCIATION AND THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES TO RESIDENT(S) AND/OR GUESTS WHILE USING ANY RECREATIONAL FACILITY.  THE HOMEOWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY RESIDENT(S) OF THEIR HOME AND/OR GUESTS.
